Glasstec 2008 Düsseldorf Germany

What a show! If you haven't been before, it's well worth the trip!

Just about every aspect of the industry is captured in the impressive Messe Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre. Unlike some shows, you need a couple of days to walk round this one!

As usual, the Glass Industry party animals were in high attendance and didn't let the side down whatsoever.

Commercial Unit Manufacturer - Padiham Glass, purchased a further third line from Forel whilst at the show.

Eric Donelly and the rest of the Soft Solution team managed to write a whopping 620,000 Euros of business whilst at the show.

The social side to this event is certainly the best bit, everyone meets up in the evening at a popular Irish bar in the Alstad.

There were quite a few criticism's on the night about the event; All I can say to them is "If you think you can do better, then why haven't you done so?"

We've got to stop pulling these industry events to pieces, where would we be without the likes of Glassex & The G-Awards? And we wouldn't have fantastic photo's like these to show you if they were non existent!

Glassex 08 PIGs Event (Publicity In Glazing)

Without doubt, the best PIGs event is the Glassex one.

This is the most attended one of the four events that are held throughout the year. PIGs is a great networking event and general piss-up!

This one was held at Mechu Bar in Birmingham, it's a great venue. Synseal kindly sponsored the bar and we thankfully drank the lot! Big Cheers to Synseal!

As you can see, everyone had a great time. Hopefully see you at the next one!

CHEERS.
